by Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk
Artist-made sculptures
Inside a sprawling Los Angeles warehouse, Landwehr and Waschk sculpt primarily in wood, bronze, resin, and mixed media using high-tech and traditional methods. These handmade sculptures come in extremely limited editions.
Due to the time required to achieve Landwehr and Waschk’s signature precision, very few pieces can be completed each month. The sculptures are exhibited at galleries and events worldwide.

SCULPTURE
All We Have Left
Part of our Prisoners Beside Me line of sculptures, this piece explores the disillusionment we face as we grow older. We begin to realize that the promises we believed in and the dreams we once had will never come true, but still we cling to them. Over time they weigh us down, and as the world tells us to move on we struggle to give in, grasping at the hollow hopes that got us where we are today.
SCULPTURE SERIES
Lustre of Life
Two lonely lifeforms search for answers to their existential questions in a series of the artists’ self-portraits. Inspired by personal stories, these autobiographical sculptures examine how seemingly unimportant moments can become flawless, shining memories.
